South Central Kentucky Chapter

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

The South Central Kentucky Chapter of the Red Cross has been serving the Bowling Green area since July 18, 1917.  The current jurisdiction of this chapter includes Allen, Butler, Simpson and Warren counties.  The chapter also provides services to Metcalfe and Monroe counties.

    The strategic direction of the South Central Kentucky Chapter of the Red Cross is to:

  • Be our community's partner and a leader in mobilizing people to help prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters and other life-threatening emergencies.
  • Inspire a new generation of volunteers and supporters to enrich our traditional base of support.
  • Strengthen our financial base, infrastructure and support systems to continuously improve our service delivery system.
